I have come a across a 90 tpi lt1 system but just dreading pulling everything out I worked hard on and then trying to figure the lt1 problems I would be running into.Greg Miller has owned his '68 Chevelle SS for more than 20 years. I have the timing set the best that can be set for it plus I have taken it to a mechanic as well to see if he would be able to get it done and he really only offered me to replace the tbi for a carb setup. Once up to speed if I take my foot off the gas it will try and die or just die on me. It also doesn't feel like the there is much power under the pedal.not much acceleration. Hard to start and once started it will idle fine but once in gear it bogs down and tries to die. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, distributor, cap, rotor, wires and plugs. ![]() Here is what I have done so far.engine swap from 91 silvarodo with ECM hooked up attached to a 700r4 from an 85 z28 that has been rebuilt. ![]() Still my poor 85 elco sets in the garage covered up not being able to be driven around and shown off. I have my swap done, everything I can think of has been done.sounds like a pretty simple swap.
